The Pickpocket page is where you go to steal from other players.
In order to pickpocket someone, they have to be online and within three tiers of your current rank. (i.e. A Wise Guy can pickpocket up to a Boss [(1) Made Man (2) Capo (3) Boss]).

The success of your attack is based on your Pick Pocket Skill, with a maximum return of $15,000. These attacks can be stealth, based on your Stealth Skill and your target's Vision.

If someone picks your pocket and you catch them (it isn't stealth), you have the ability to "Mug" them back. This is much more severe than a Pickpocket, and hasn't a limit on how much money you can take (however, you can only take money they have on-hand, not in banks). There is also a small chance that during a mugging you can lose possession of your gun. If the mugger has no gun and you trigger the small % that will cause you to lose possession of yours, he may take it. Mugs also affect flight, wack, and pickpocket timers, extending them by a random amount.

The result will be a message detailing the fullest jail in the cities reading, "Word on the street is that 79 tough guys just got locked up in New York." It will list both the number of people currently locked up and which city they are located in.

The FBN Agent
Each city keeps count of how much you have tipped that city's agent. The amount of money that you will be charged for a tip increases as the number of drug units you can hold also increases. This is the first of the two officials to offer more options if you are using the Timer Package. Without timers you see only FBN Agent XXX, which offers general information such as: "Rumor has it that Chicago is paying top dollar for Barbiturates at this moment. Or you may want to consider picking up some Cocaine in New Orleans. I'm not sure how long these prices will last though." This is the cheapest option as you have no control over what you will receive.

With the timers, you gain two new options:
*A tip based on a specific drug: "Rumor has it that Philadelphia is paying top dollar for Marijuana at this moment. Or you may want to consider picking up some Marijuana in Boston. I'm not sure how long these prices will last though." with price based on the drug you are searching for.
*A tip based on a specific city: "Rumor has it that Boston is paying top dollar for Morphine at this moment. Or you may want to consider picking up some Heroin in Boston. I'm not sure how long these prices will last though." with price base-lined at the cost of a Marijuana tip regardless of city chosen.

One thing that is of note: The min and max are directly related to your search and the city-wide drug scene when you pay for the tip. In the first example, Philadelphia's marijuana price could be fairly low making it a bad sell. This doesn't mean the tip lied to you, but rather that even at that low a price, Philadelphia was paying the most for marijuana.

The Detective
The detective of the city can be tipped to find the name of an inactive civilian and the city that they are currently located in. The tip will cost you $25,000. The tip looks like: "Word on the street is that Diana has fallen out of favor in Philadelphia."

The Madam
The Madam is the second official to offer extra options if you have timers. Her first, and standard, option is simply to offer you the name of a city with at least one bodyguard belonging to some dead guy for the cost of $30,000. If there are none currently available, you aren't charged. Her message looks like this: "Honey... word on the street is that 13 of those "big boys" are in hiding in Philadelphia."

Her second, and extra, option is to offer up the city and the name of the dead guy with the bodyguard(s). This second option will cost you half (.5) a credit. This message looks like this: “Jun 08, 15:13:27 WadelDice left behind some protection in Paradise, Las Vegas.”

The Warden
The warden will let you buy scrambled Witness Statements (WS) that were sold to the warden. They come out looking like this: "Connor Smith slides you a letter. Inside it reads: "2012-08-19 11:13:23 You witnessed XXXXXX WACK bransford". You slide him an envelope containing $100,000 and walk away with your new found knowledge." The shooter's name's visibility is dependent on the original WS that was sold. Selling a WS can be done using the button located beneath the other tip options with is line above it: "Sell Info To The Warden ($5,000):". The warden will pay $5,000 for each WS sold, but only accepts recent WSs resulting in the death of a person that haven't already been sold to the warden; wack attempts, bodyguard wacks, and pickpockets are not accepted.

The Undertaker
The Undertaker will provide you with the information on a grave that can be robbed. The information provided will look similar to this: "Word in the... underground.. is that JamesWestfall is now residing 6 feet underground wearing some pretty fine jewelry right over there. You slide him an envelope containing $20,000". The grave rob feature is only available to those still willing to get their hands dirty (Wiseguy and below).

TOC right
In Mafiareturns, Bodyguards provide a means to increase your defence against incoming attacks. You can buy and manage bodyguards by accessing Manage -> BG Management. Once you buy bodyguards, you can train them to provide better protection.

How Do They Work
* A new bodyguard(BG) comes with a maximum of 10 skill.
* Bodyguards can be trained to a maximum of 100 skill
* Training adds an additional 10 to it's maximum skill.
* A bodyguard can be trained once every 24 hours.
* Bodyguards lose a health point everyday, until such time as they reach 2hp.
* You can restore the health point of a bodyguard to its maximum by using Upkeep. * The cost of Upkeep is $6,000 per health point to be recovered.
* Once upkeep is used, you must wait 5 days before you can upkeep that BG again.
* On occasion, when using upkeep your BG can be renamed to display loyalty to you, regardless of the Training level, this will give the BG a health rate of 130HP.
* Effectiveness of your bodyguards is displayed at the bottom of the BG management page as BG Equivalent.
* The BG Equivalent is calculated as the sum of the skills of all your bodyguards.
:1 bg at 10 skill = .10 of a full 100 hp bg
:10 bgs at 10 skill = 1 full 100 hp bgs
:10 bgs at 30 skill = 3 full 100 hp bgs
:20 bgs at 50 skill = 10 full 100 hp bgs
In Mafiareturns, Bodyguards provide a means to increase your defence against incoming attacks. You can buy and manage bodyguards by accessing Manage -> BG Management. Once you buy bodyguards, you can train them to provide better protection.

How Do They Work
* A new bodyguard(BG) comes with a maximum of 10 skill.
:20 bgs at 100 skill = 20 full 100 hp bgs and so on.
* Higher the BG Equivalent, the stronger the defence.
* The more bodyguards you own, the more your flights will cost as you need to transport your entourage with you wherever you go.
* The bodyguards can be shot at. The shooter will either miss, wound, or kill your bodyguard.
* Only someone of Earner rank or above can target an alive users bodyguard, unless otherwise given Auth by their leader whilst below this rank.
How To Play
To play harty all you have to do is click "Claim for $10,000" or "Claim for $250,000". Upon doing so, you will own the "Prize". To win the prize all you have to do is wait for the timer to count down to 0, but there is always the chance that another player will click claim and steal the prize from you. They then need to wait for the timer to hit 0 unless someone else claims the prize in which case, they will then need to wait. Once the timer hits 0 and you still own the prize. All money in the pot will belong to you!

Countdown Times
For the $10,000 Harty you will need to wait 5 minutes for the timer to hit 0.
For the $250,000 Harty you will need to wait 30 minutes.

The Airport is where you can travel between the 6 different cities in Mafia Returns. The most frequent reason for flying is to benefit from drug trade, but other reasons could also involve finding a specific target to murder or even benefit from the added security of the home town. You must wait a few hours to be able to fly again to a different city. The flight is instantaneous; that is, there is no time you need to wait to resume your activities after taking off.

The cost of a flight depends on the distance traveled but for an active player, the only difference in cost that is worth noting is when taking a long distance flight (explained below). The cost of all flights also increase with the level of protection or amount of bodyguards. The rationale is that you are taking your security staff with you wherever you go so you need to pay for their airfare.

Long Distance Flights
Some flights are considered to be 'Long Distance Flights' These flights are simply the flights between Las Vegas/Los Angeles to New York/Philadelphia (from coast to coast). These flights are more expensive and when you use them it will take you twelve hours to fly again.

Private flights
In case of an emergency, whenever you are within one hour to be able to fly, you have the choice of taking a private flight. But this option is extremely costly.
