Petty Thief
This is the rank given to players after they have completed a few petty crimes. Petty thieves cannot attack, be attacked, or purchase bodyguards. You will advance to Thug if one or more of the following occurs:
- You acquire sufficient experience (from crimes) and your character is 12 hours old.
- You join a crew.
Petty thieves also rank to Gangster if their character becomes 7 days old. This allows the character to be shot.
